1. Ingredients   

Gather the ingredients including refrigerated crescent roll dough, butter, sugar, orange zest, and powdered sugar (for glaze).

2. Preheat Oven    

Preheat your oven to the temperature specified on the crescent roll dough package (usually around 375°F or 190°C).

3. Prepare Filling  

In a small bowl, mix softened butter, sugar, and orange zest until well combined. The orange zest adds a bright, citrusy flavor to the filling.

4. Roll Out Dough   

Unroll the crescent roll dough onto a clean surface. Press the perforations to seal them and roll the dough into a large rectangle.

5. Spread Filling  

Spread the buttery orange zest mixture evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.

6. Roll Up Dough 

Starting from the long edge, roll up the dough into a log, similar to a cinnamon roll.

7. Slice Rolls    

Use a sharp knife to slice the log into individual rolls, about 1 inch thick.

8. Bake 

Place the rolls in a greased baking dish and bake according to the package instructions, or until the rolls are golden brown and cooked through.

9. Prepare Glaze 

While the rolls are baking, mix powdered sugar with a little orange juice to create a glaze. Drizzle the glaze over the warm rolls before serving.
