Stir Fry Vegetables Recipe

1. Ingredients  

Gather your ingredients. You'll need a variety of vegetables such as bell peppers, broccoli, carrots, snap peas, mushrooms, onions, garlic, and any other vegetables you prefer. You'll also need soy sauce, sesame oil, vegetable oil, ginger (optional), and toppings like sesame seeds or green onions (optional).

2. Prepare the Vegetables  

Wash and chop the vegetables into bite-sized pieces. Cut denser vegetables like carrots and broccoli into smaller pieces to ensure they cook evenly.

3. Heat the Pan    

Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add a tablespoon of vegetable oil and swirl to coat the pan.

4. Add Aromatics 

If using ginger and garlic, add them to the hot pan and stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Be careful not to burn them.

5. Add Vegetables   

Add the vegetables to the pan, starting with the ones that take longer to cook, such as carrots and broccoli. Stir-fry for a few minutes until they begin to soften but are still crisp-tender.

6. Season      

Drizzle soy sauce and sesame oil over the vegetables in the pan. Toss to coat evenly. You can also add other seasonings like black pepper, chili flakes, or a splash of rice vinegar for extra flavor.

7. Stir-Fry  

Continue stir-frying the vegetables until they are cooked to your liking. Be sure to keep them moving in the pan to prevent burning and ensure even cooking. The vegetables should be tender but still vibrant and colorful.

8. Serve   

Once the vegetables are cooked, transfer them to a serving dish. Garnish with sesame seeds or chopped green onions if desired. Serve the stir-fried vegetables hot as a side dish or over rice or noodles for a complete meal.
