Chocolate Coconut Smoothie Bowl Recipe

1. Gather Ingredients  

Collect 1 ripe banana (frozen or fresh), 1/2 cup of coconut milk (or any milk of your choice), 2 tablespoons of unsweetened cocoa powder, 1/4 cup of shredded coconut (unsweetened), 1 tablespoon of honey or maple syrup (optional for added sweetness), and toppings of your choice such as sliced banana, berries, granola, nuts, seeds, or additional shredded coconut.

2. Blend the Base   

In a blender, combine the ripe banana, coconut milk, cocoa powder, shredded coconut, and honey or maple syrup if using. Blend until smooth and creamy. You can adjust the consistency by adding more coconut milk if necessary.

3. Prepare Toppings 

While the smoothie base is blending, prepare your desired toppings. Chop fresh fruits, measure out granola or nuts, and set aside.

4. Pour into Bowls    

Once the smoothie base is smooth and creamy, pour it into individual serving bowls.

5. Add Toppings 

Sprinkle your chosen toppings over the smoothie bowl. Get creative and arrange them in an attractive pattern if desired.

6. Drizzle with Extra Honey or Nut Butter (Optional)   

For additional sweetness or flavor, drizzle a small amount of honey or nut butter over the top of the smoothie bowl.

7. Optional Extras 

For added texture and nutrition, you can also sprinkle with chia seeds, hemp seeds, or cacao nibs.

8. Serve and Enjoy 

Serve your chocolate coconut smoothie bowl immediately and enjoy it with a spoon. It's best enjoyed fresh before the toppings begin to soften.
