4. Let it Sit

Once everything is well combined, cover the mixing bowl or jar with plastic wrap or a lid and refrigerate the mixture for at least 2-3 hours, or preferably overnight. This allows the chia seeds to absorb the liquid and thicken into a pudding-like consistency.

5. Stir Occasionally

While the chia seed pudding is setting in the refrigerator, it's a good idea to give it a stir every hour or so to prevent clumping and ensure even thickening.

6. Check Consistency

After the pudding has been refrigerated for the desired amount of time, check the consistency. If it's too thick for your liking, you can thin it out with a little more milk. If it's too thin, you can add more chia seeds and let it sit for a bit longer.

7. Serve

Once the chia seed pudding reaches your desired consistency, you can serve it as is or layer it with your favorite toppings such as fresh fruit, nuts, granola, or shredded coconut.

8. Store

Any leftover chia seed pudding can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-5 days. Just give it a stir before serving as the chia seeds may settle at the bottom.
